1) MLA Citation Format for source

4) What is the next step in your research?
It has been legalized to have intercourse with the women of defeated side after the war as the women were considered as the "spoil of war".
Hindu scriptures intentionally described slaves as "black", "black-vagina", "inactive" or even "inhuman"
A Slave was considered nothing but as a property, and (s)he was even allowed to be destroyed for just the benefit of Aryans "Among religions it is only Islam that legalized slavery so loudly and clearly."
This showed me some good insight on a view point form someone else as well s facts to back it up. It let me aware of the things that goes on in slavery as well as what is being done. After reading this show passage I seen that this will defiantly be what I will do my project on.
My next step is putting my ideas together, by reading more different religions.
Islam greatly limited those who could be enslaved and under what circumstances (although these restrictions were often evaded)
Islam treated slaves as human beings as well as property
Islam banned the mistreatment of slaves - indeed the tradition repeatedly stresses the importance of treating slaves with kindness and compassion
Islam allowed slaves to achieve their freedom and made freeing slaves a virtuous act
Islam barred Muslims from enslaving other Muslims
This website was extremely helpful. It was a great website too with out ads. It showed that I will defiantly put on my brochure what islam do to their slaves and do a lot of comparison with other religions. This website also helped me write down more history on what I want for my brochure.
My next step is to put all my islamic research together.
In antiquity, Jewish society condoned slavery.[3] Slaves were seen as an essential part of a Jewish household.
Slave ownership was widely accepted by the majority of early Jewish societies, but the Essenes were a small, ascetic sect that reportedly renounced slavery,[15] although some scholars question whether the Essenes actually renounced slavery
It is apparent that Jews still owned Jewish slaves in the Talmudic era, because Talmudic authorities tried to denounce the biblical permission[26] that Jews could sell themselves into slavery if they were poverty-stricken. In particular, the Talmud said that Jews should not sell themselves to non-Jews, and if they did, the Jewish community was urged to ransom or redeem the slave.
I have learned a lot about theses different religions. It gave me some insight on knowing that even with different religions praising a god they have in some way interrupt their beliefs in a different way.
Why did you choose this topic? What different things did you learn while researching and creating the project?
I chose this topic because it was hard. I also choose it because I felt that I would like to know about different slavery around the world. I have learned that Jewish people slavery was believed to start within the bible and alot of holidays and things they eat reflects on what they believe from the bible. I also that there are to religions that till this day still believe in salver.
I feel accomplished. I feel I put a lot of hard and dedicated work into it. My facts will be my strongest part. My weakness part will probably be summarizing my facts more. But I was so into that every fact played a crucial part in my project.
